Dr. Evans grew up in Beaumont, TX and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Mathematics in 2014. Prior to receiving a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2024 and completing a 1-year small animal rotating internship at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Evans had experience teaching high school mathematics and working as a veterinary assistant in private and emergency veterinary practices.
Wanting to be closer to family and friends, Dr. Evans and husky mix, Rhea, moved back to Houston and joined the Silverlake Animal Hospital team in 2025.
Dr. Evans' professional interests include radiology and cardiology. Dr. Evans has numerous hobbies which include running, taekwondo, indoor rock climbing, video games, and an impressive board game collection. The biggest achievement outside of work for Dr. Evans has been obtaining a 4th degree black belt in taekwondo and medaling in world competition.
