Dr. Gilbert is originally from Baton Rouge, LA. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2021. While attending veterinary school, she also accomplished her CVA veterinary acupuncturist certification.
After graduation, she moved to San Antonio where she practiced as a General Practice/Emergency Veterinarian for all species for a year. Wanting to be closer to family, she moved to Houston and joined our Silverlake Animal Hospital team in 2022. She currently lives with her calico tabby kitten, Duckie.
Her professional interests include acupuncture, ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology. Her hobbies include swimming, running, yoga, rock climbing, beach volleyball, and camping.
